Description
The ELX118P takes the low-end punch of the ELX118 and builds a 700 W Class D amp right into the cabinet, so you get real subwoofer output without hauling extra amp racks to the gig. That matters whether you’re loading in for a wedding reception, running a mobile rig out of a hatchback, or anchoring the low end at a club night — less gear to carry means faster setup and more time actually mixing.
Inside sits an EVS-18K woofer tuned for extended low frequencies, delivering a 32 Hz–130 Hz range and a calculated max SPL of 134 dB/1m. Switchable Normal and Boost modes let you dial in output depending on the room and the material you’re playing, from vocal-heavy sets to bass-forward electronic sets. The cabinet itself is 9-ply, 15mm braced plywood with textured paint and an 18-gauge steel grille, so it’s built to survive repeated load-ins without babying it.
Connectivity is straightforward for live use: an XLR/TRS combo input takes your signal in, and a parallel XLR link output lets you daisy-chain to a second cabinet or feed additional gear without extra splitters. An internal crossover set at 100 Hz keeps integration with tops clean.
