Description
The AMT U-2 Pangaea Ultima Brain Frame isn’t locked into one job. It’s a compact hardware platform that becomes whatever effect you need by swapping its firmware, making it a flexible core for any pedalboard built around the AMT Bricks ecosystem, which is designed for full design and functional compatibility across the range.
- 01 – IR CabSim Fx: the default load-out, pairing an analog-digital preamp (clean, low gain, high gain) with noise gate, compressor, 9-type power amp, single IR cab simulation, parametric EQ, hi/low pass filtering with presence, and a delay or reverb per preset.
- 02 – Modulation FX: turns the unit into a modulation-focused processor — resonance filter, flanger, chorus, delay and tremolo — for expanding a pedalboard that already has its distortion sorted.
- 03 – IR Stereo CabSim: a dedicated stereo IR cabinet emulator with independent left/right impulse responses plus parametric EQ and filtering.
- 04 – Stereo Delay and 05 – Stereo Reverb: full stereo in/out effects, the reverb offering Gold, Hall, Room, Plate, Spring, Gate and Reverse types.
- 06 – Pre/Post FX: splits the signal chain into a pre section (noise gate, compressor, phaser, resonance filter, flanger) and a post section (IR cabsim, EQ, filtering, delay/reverb).
Under the hood: 24-bit AD/DA conversion via AK4621 codec, 48kHz sampling, 115dB S/N, and just 1.2ms latency. It runs on 12V DC at roughly 300mA and measures a travel-friendly 47 x 55 x 95mm at 270g, so it tucks into any pedalboard or gig bag without adding bulk.
