The ELX200-12P puts serious output in a box you can still carry solo. Built around EV’s own EVS-12M 12-inch woofer and a DH-1C titanium compression driver, it’s driven by a 1200W Class-D amp that reaches up to 130 dB peak SPL — plenty of headroom whether you’re filling a lounge or running a club system that has to work all night.
What sets it apart for working DJs and sound techs is QuickSmartDSP. Four onboard presets (Music, Live, Speech, Club) plus five user-programmable slots let you dial in the room fast, with sub/top crossover matching, three-band EQ, limiter monitoring, and input/master level control all managed from the LCD panel. Pair that with the QuickSmart Mobile app over Bluetooth LE, and you can configure, tweak, and monitor up to six ELX200 boxes at once from out in the room — not stuck behind the rig fiddling with knobs while the crowd waits.
EV’s patented SST waveguide keeps coverage even and distortion low across the room, so mixes stay clean from front row to back. The polypropylene composite enclosure keeps weight manageable for van-and-load-in gigs, while three M10 mounting points and the ZLX three-handle design mean it’s just as ready for a fixed install as a Saturday-night mobile setup.
