The EKX-15P puts serious EV engineering into a cabinet you can actually carry solo. It’s a powered, two-way 15″ speaker aimed squarely at DJs and live sound techs who bounce between club dates, mobile gigs, and installed setups — no separate amp rack required.
- Class-D amplification rated at 1500 W, capable of pushing 134 dB peak SPL through EV-designed transducers.
- QuickSmartDSP gives you a single-knob interface and LCD menu for fast setup — flip between Music, Live, Speech, and Club presets, dial in a three-band EQ, or save five of your own custom presets on the fly.
- Sub/top crossover matching means it plays nice with EKX subwoofers when you need extra low end.
- Variable-speed cooling fan with onboard sensors keeps the amp stable through long sets and hot rooms.

- 15mm braced wood cabinet finished in EVCoat, with eight M10 mounting points, an aluminum pole mount, and metal handles for load-in/load-out.
Inside: an EVS-15M 15″ woofer paired with a DH-1M titanium compression driver, crossing over at 1.7 kHz, delivering a frequency response of 55 Hz–18 kHz (-3 dB) with 90° x 60° coverage. Hookup is straightforward via stereo RCA input, XLR/TRS combo jacks, and an XLR link output for daisy-chaining a second cabinet.
At 24.4 kg (53.79 lbs) net weight, it’s manageable for one person to move, set on a pole, or drop into a mobile rig — while still hitting the SPL numbers a club floor demands.
