Built around EV’s own 18-inch EVS-18L transducer and driven by a high-efficiency 1200W Class-D amp, it pushes up to 132 dB peak SPL — enough headroom for club installs and enough portability for the mobile DJ hauling gear van-to-venue.
Dial it in fast with QuickSmartDSP: three ready-made presets (Music, Live, Club), sub/top system-match crossovers, three-band EQ, and five user-programmable slots for saving your own settings. An LCD keeps you looking at limiter status, input levels, and master volume so gain structure stays clean instead of guessed at. For touring or install setups running multiple boxes, the QuickSmart Mobile app adds Bluetooth control (BTLE, available in select countries) over up to six ELX200 loudspeakers at once — mix from the dance floor instead of crouching behind the stack, and get alerted the moment something’s being overdriven.
The 15mm plywood enclosure keeps things light enough for one-person load-in, and a two-handle design plus integrated M20 pole mount make it just as easy to drop into a pole-mounted top/sub pairing as it is to slide into a hatchback.
