Description
Whether you’re rolling into a club booth or setting up a mobile rig, the ZLX-12BT gives you pro-level output without demanding a full sound system to get there. Electro-Voice built this 12″ powered speaker around a 1,000W peak Class-D amp driving a 12″ low-frequency woofer and 1.5″ titanium compression driver, so it holds its own as a standalone main or a monitor wedge, subwoofer or not.
- 12″ LF driver paired with 1.5″ titanium HF compression driver
- 1,000W peak Class-D amplification
- Built-in Bluetooth for wireless streaming straight from your phone or laptop
- 65Hz–18kHz frequency response, 90° x 60° coverage
For DJs juggling setups between pole-mounted stands, floor wedges, and wall brackets, the ZLX-12BT’s three location-based sound modes automatically compensate the low end so your mix doesn’t shift depending on placement. Pair that with QuickSmartDSP presets — including a smiley-face club curve for dance-floor energy and a neutral live setting for cleaner mixes — plus a 2-band EQ for fine-tuning, and you’ve got a speaker that adapts to the gig instead of the other way around.
Inputs cover XLR/TRS combo jacks and a 3.5mm TRS for quick line-ins, with an XLR output for linking additional boxes. The molded enclosure keeps things rugged for van-and-venue life, and at 34.3 lb. it’s light enough to carry solo without sacrificing the punch a real 12″ woofer delivers.
Good for mobile DJs stacking gear into a hatchback, and just as capable holding down a small-to-mid room as a house main.
