Description
Whether you’re loading in for a Friday night club set or hauling gear to a wedding across town, the Peavey Dark Matter DM115 subwoofer pair gives you the low-frequency muscle to fill a room without overloading your van. Each cabinet houses a heavy-duty 15″ woofer with a 3″ voice coil, driven by an amp section rated at 800 watts peak, and DDT compression keeps things clean when you push the level.
Signal routing is built for real-world setups: a combo jack accepts balanced 1/4″ TRS or XLR input, and you get two high-pass XLR thru outputs plus a full-range XLR output for feeding tops or additional cabinets down the line. An adjustable Level knob and a combined power/DDT-limiting LED let you dial in and monitor performance from the stage or booth. A polarity switch and ground lift add flexibility when you’re troubleshooting hum or phase issues on a multi-cab rig.
Peavey built in forced-air cooling to keep the amp section stable through long sets, and the internal crossover network plus tunable Kosmos C circuit let you shape bass response to taste. The enclosure stays road-worthy with a perforated steel grille and steel handles, while a threaded pole mount (pole included) makes stacking a top speaker straightforward.
