The ELX200-12P is EV’s answer to DJs and mobile jocks who bounce between weddings, bars, and the occasional real club date. This open box unit is graded Mint — fully functional, cosmetically clean, just missing its original retail packaging, so you get the full ELX200 feature set at a lower price point.
Under the hood you’ve got a 12-inch EVS-12M woofer paired with a DH-1C titanium compression driver, both EV-designed and matched to a 1200W Class-D amp capable of pushing 130 dB peak SPL. That’s plenty of headroom for a packed dance floor or a mid-size venue, and the SST waveguide keeps coverage even so guests standing off-axis still hear a balanced mix.
Workflow is where this box earns its keep. QuickSmartDSP puts four instant presets right on the LCD — Music, Live, Speech, Club — so switching from ceremony to reception to after-party doesn’t mean digging through menus. Five user presets let you save your own house curve, and the QuickSmart Mobile app (Bluetooth LE) lets you monitor and adjust up to six ELX200 boxes from out on the floor instead of hunched over the back panel.
For transport and setup, the polypropylene enclosure keeps weight manageable, the ZLX three-handle layout makes solo load-in realistic, and three M10 mounting points plus an integrated pole mount cover truss, stand, or fly rigging.
