The ELX200-15P is EV’s answer to the DJ or mobile performer who needs one box that can cover a room without a rack of outboard gear. Inside the lightweight polypropylene enclosure sits a 15-inch EVS-15M woofer paired with a DH-1C 1-inch titanium compression driver, both purpose-engineered by EV and driven by a Class-D amp rated at 1200W. Peak output hits 132 dB SPL, so whether you’re running club sets or covering a wedding dance floor, there’s plenty of headroom in reserve.
What sets this apart for working DJs is QuickSmartDSP: four one-touch presets (Music, Live, Speech, Club) let you match the voicing to the gig in seconds, and if you run a sub, the built-in sub/top crossover handles system matching without a separate processor. Five user-programmable presets mean you can save your own house settings and recall them instantly at the next venue, while the LCD gives you real-time input metering, limiter status, and master gain control right on the cabinet.
Pair it with the EV QuickSmart Mobile app over Bluetooth Low Energy and you can control, configure, and monitor up to six ELX200 boxes at once from your phone — useful for multi-zone setups or when you’re mixing from out front and don’t want to walk back to the stack. You’ll get overdrive alerts before something actually clips.
On the practical side: three M10 mounting points, integrated pole mount, and the ZLX three-handle design make it manageable to load in and fly solo for mobile work, while I/O includes RCA, combo XLR/TRS, and XLR connections for flexible source hookup.
