This is an open-box unit of the E.V. ZLX-15P, a 15″ two-way powered loudspeaker built for DJs and sound techs who need serious volume without hauling a truckload of gear. The box has been opened – maybe for inspection, a demo, or a returned order – but the speaker itself gives you the same performance EV designed it for, at a lower price point.
On its own, the ZLX-15P throws crisp highs and surprisingly deep, tight low end across larger rooms – think function halls, mid-size clubs, or outdoor setups where you need reach. Pair it with a subwoofer and it locks into full-range duty, handling the mids and highs while the sub takes over the bottom. Either way, there’s ample amplifier headroom built in, so you can push volume for a packed dance floor without the sound falling apart or breaking up.
For mobile DJs, that headroom and portability matter just as much as the sound quality – one box, one amp built in, and you’re covered for weddings, corporate gigs, or club fill duty.
