Description
When a press conference or panel discussion turns into a scramble of recorders fighting for one output, the EXO-Pod is the fix. This passive splitter takes a single mic or line-level input and fans it out to ten transformer-isolated XLR outputs plus four 3.5mm stereo TRS jacks — fourteen clean feeds total, all with zero added noise or coloration since there’s no power supply or active circuitry involved.
Built as part of Radial’s mPress ecosystem, the EXO-Pod works equally well bolted into a modular press box rig or sitting on its own as a standalone unit. Need more outputs? Daisy-chain additional EXO-Pods together and keep expanding without sacrificing signal integrity. Every XLR output includes its own ground lift switch to kill hum loops on the spot, and a trim control at the input lets you dial in the level before it hits the isolation transformers.
Radial didn’t cut corners on the build either — a 14-gauge steel chassis and matching steel carry handle shield the XLR input, loop-thru output, and trim pot from the inevitable bumps of touring and event work. Combined with a flat frequency response and low-distortion isolation transformers, the EXO-Pod keeps every downstream recorder getting the same accurate, quiet signal.
