Description
Running sound across multiple rooms or zones usually means juggling separate volume knobs, mismatched levels, and a rack full of adapters. The ART MX225 simplifies that by taking two balanced stereo sources and feeding them into five independent output zones, each with its own dedicated controls. For venues running music to a main floor, bar area, patio, and back rooms simultaneously, this is the kind of behind-the-scenes gear that keeps everything consistent without demanding constant attention once it’s dialed in.
Each of the five zones gets independent level control from both Source 1 and Source 2, a stereo/mono selector with an indicator LED, and five-segment LED metering so you can see signal activity at a glance. Every input and output runs through balanced XLR connections, which matters when you’re sending audio long distances to amp racks or powered speakers in a permanent install. The internal power supply and single-rack-height 19" chassis mean it drops into an existing rack with the rest of your system hardware without extra boxes or wall warts to manage.
This isn’t a mobile DJ mixer — it’s the distribution layer that sits behind the booth, quietly sending controlled, balanced signal to every zone in the building.
