Description
Running audio to more than one room? The ART MX225 lets you take two balanced stereo sources and send them out to five separate zones, each with its own volume control. Think main room and patio, or dance floor and lounge — each space gets independent level control without needing separate mixers or amps upstream.
Every zone output includes a stereo/mono switch with a mono indicator LED, so you can sum left and right for a single mono feed if that’s what a zone calls for (handy for ceiling speaker runs or smaller side rooms). Five-segment LED metering per zone (-25, -20, -15, -10, Clip) gives you a quick visual read on signal activity without pulling out a meter, and source presence LEDs confirm signal is reaching the unit before it even hits a zone.
All connections are balanced XLR in and out, which keeps noise down over longer cable runs between the mixer and remote amp racks — a real plus in venues where the amps live far from the booth. It’s built into a single-rack-space 19″ chassis with an internal power supply, so it drops straight into an existing rack without extra gear to manage.
