Description
When you need to consolidate a stack of mic and line sources into a single stereo feed without eating up rack space, the ART MX821s earns its spot. This demo unit gives you eight independent input channels—each accepting either a balanced XLR mic signal or an unbalanced 1/4-inch TS line signal—with dedicated level and pan controls per channel, so you can shape your own stereo placement on the fly.
Each mic input has its own switchable +48V phantom power, meaning condenser mics and dynamics can sit side by side without compromise. A master level knob controls the balanced 1/4-inch TRS main outputs, while separate Prefade Output and Aux Bus Input RCA jacks let you chain multiple MX821s units together when a gig or install calls for more than eight channels.
Housed in a single-rack-space steel chassis with an internal power supply, it’s equally at home behind a DJ booth, tucked into a mobile rig case, or hard-wired into a permanent install for a boardroom, church, restaurant, or small club. For line-level flexibility, each line input can be internally jumpered to function as a direct line output.
